Community Classes
Musica Sierra is excited to offer community classes that will inspire and provide a transformative experience through the performing arts. This musical instruction will take place after school. We aim to provide a music education experience that develops and inspires the behaviors and personal skills needed for a successful life.

Ages 2-18
We have two sessions every Wednesday (following the school calendar) for:
1:45--2:30 pm: Ages 2-5: Little Susuki Learners
1:45-4:30 pm: Ages 6-18: String Academy
Your kiddo will learn the following:
A string Instrument (Cello, violin, viola)
Music skills include rhythm, melody, and how to play as a group!
Fun musical games, musical exploration-free time (songwriting, beat making), and much more

Beginning Ballet
for ages 7-10 years AND ages 11-14 years
Join us for our first-ever beginning ballet class taught by Elizabeth Archer.
Ballet Technique introduces students to the ballet barre and center floor exercises with an emphasis on language, technique, grace, and coordination, honoring the Classical Ballet artform. Ballet is the backbone of many other dance disciplines, including Contemporary, Jazz, Modern, and even Hip Hop!
8-week beginning ballet course:
Tuesdays (weekly following the school calendar starting Feb 6-March 25, 2024)
3-4 pm: Ages 7-11
4-5 pm: Ages 12-15

Mini Music Makers
ages 0-12, with a focus on 0-5
Musica Sierra has developed a free monthly musica class for ages 0–5 and parents to help integrate musical learning into early childhood education. In this class, parents and children explore music together to help strengthen learning and parental bonding.
