Christmas Vespers by Candlelight
An evening of song, prayer, and soulful restoration
Come spend an evening in peace and stillness immersed in contemplative song, chanting, prayer, and candlelight as we approach Christmas and the darkest day of the year.
‘Vespers’ (‘evening prayer’) is an ancient monastic tradition that dates back to the 6th century in the Christian church. No religious affiliation is needed. This is not a church service per se, but rather an ancient Christian musical ceremony that anyone can attend. Come as you are.
Bring a yoga mat to lay on or a comfy cushion to sit on (there will be chairs as well) as you lay down your worries for an evening of soulful restoration and a divine reset before the new year.
Light refreshments will be offered after the ceremony.
